I have 8 years of experience using research to support equitable solutions to systemic issues. I am skilled at analyzing policies, statutes, and administrative rules with an equity lens, using national and state-level data to conduct equity impact assessments, advocating in partnership with community coalitions, and advancing more equitable data life cycles from collection to reporting. I have expertise in linguistically inclusive and identity-affirming communication strategies.
I served as Racial Equity Policy and Research Analyst for the State of Vermont Office of Racial Equity from February 2022 to October 2024. I am the principal drafter of the 2023 Office of Racial Equity Language Access Report, which was used to support the legislative allocation of $3 million to improve the state government language access services. While at the Office, I served on a grant application review committee for the Vermont Community Foundation.
I graduated from the University of Vermont Master of Public Health program in 2021. Prior to graduating, I conducted research for the New Hampshire Division of Public Health to support a successful application for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grant awards. The Ryan White grant awards allowed the first syringe services programs in New Hampshire to open in 2017. I also developed a grant program evaluation framework for the Tipping Point program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Partners for Community Wellness and served as Youth Health Equity Model of Practice Fellow for the New Hampshire Office of Health Equity.
I have lived in the Vermont/New Hampshire bi-state area since 2017. I currently live in Central Vermont with my cat Honey. I enjoy doing cross stitch projects, listening to audiobooks, and taking Honey on walks in my free time (yes, she can walk on a leash, and no, I can’t tell her where to go).
I look forward to connecting with you if you’re interested in learning more about my services, collaborating on a project, or discussing mutual interests.
