As Public Health Policy Consultant, Hartford Community Coalition
(January-February 2022)

The research I conducted as an intern with the New Hampshire Bureau of Infectious Disease Control was used to support a successful application for a Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grant award from the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). The funding was used to open the first syringe services programs in the state of New Hampshire following the passage of SB 234 in June 2017, which legalized syringe services in New Hampshire.
